3.129 Release Notes (October 2025)

This document outlines the new features, improvements, bug fixes and other tasks included in this admation release.

Release Overview

The focus of the release was to further improve the locking of approval templates, as well as to fix some bugs in the Approval Centre.

Improvements

AD-22881 Approval Templates > Ability to lock/unlock various flags on approval levels

In the most recent release of admation, wee added functionality to allow administrators to lock down the approvers on each level of an Approval Template to reinforce to users that

they should not edit the recipients of approval requests sent to this template. However, it was still possible to adjust the ANY and ALL flag, as well as the Continuous Approval flag

on those levels. We have now also allowed administrators to lock these flags so that the submitters are forced to use the required approvers and flags for each approval level of a template.

For example, in the screen shot below, we can see that Approval Level 1 is completely unlocked meaning that submitters are able to edit the recipients on that level as well as whether all or any recipients need to respond etc. However, Approval Level 2 & 3 each have the Approvers and Flags locked meaning that submitters are unable to edit these.

Approval Templates can now have the Approvers and/or Flags locked on each level

AD-22880 Dashboard > Recent Activity > Update the layout for better readability

A small change has been made to the layout of the Recent Activity section of the dashboard. This was done to improve readability of this information, as well as reduce the

area taken up by this data.

Bug Fixes

AD-22889 Approval Centre > Text Selection Markups improved

Users have been embracing the new Approval Centre view and the improved functionality it brings. One of their favourite features is the Test Selection markup tool, however there were some issues with this. Some examples of these issues are;

• If text was arranged in columns within a PDF, the tool would select text across the entire row of the page and not just a single column

• If the artwork was rotated, text selection was possible, but the selector had trouble working out where text started and ended

These issues, as well as other edge cases that were found, have been fixed
