This document outlines the new features, improvements, bug fixes and other tasks included in this admation release.

Release Overview

The focus of the release was to update the Full Screen Approval View.

Improvements

AD-21888 Full Screen Approval View > Full UX Update

Admation is used by many people to achieve many goals, but by far it’s most popular functionality is document and artwork approvals. The Full Screen Approval (FSA) View is the centrepiece of our approvals engine and it has just been replaced and supercharged!!

Under the hood, we have completely reviewed, replaced and updated every line of code, removing and replacing legacy functionality that was holding us back, and adding new features that were previously unable to be implemented.

For users, this means a more seamless experience with quicker page loads, quicker rendering of artwork, and no page refreshes. We have rationalised related information to allow you to quickly access what you need, as well as consolidating all markups in to a single, filterable list.

We have also added all new functionality such as allowing you to view all markups across pages of a document, text selections for markups, the ability to rotate your artwork (great

for packaging approvals), new ways to compare revisions of work, and much more.

Because of the scope of this change, we are handling this as a managed rollout to allow organisations to get a feel for these changes before they are made available to all users. If you think your organisation would like to opt in to accessing the new full screen approval view, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager and they will be able to help you.

There are many more features and changes we have planned for the approvals system over the coming months. We think you will be happy with what we’re working on.

AD-22351 Project List > Allow users to specify a default search filter 

When duplicating a project, we will no longer duplicate the Job Number field. Doing this had caused the same identifying number to be allocated to multiple projects which had caused issued in some organisations. 

Saved searches can now be set as your default and applied when you come to this page in future

AD-22605 Duplicating a Project > Do not duplicate the Job Number field

When duplicating a project, we will no longer duplicate the Job Number field. Doing this had caused the same identifying number to be allocated to multiple projects which had

caused issued in some organisations.

Now we will leave the Job Number in the new project blank, unless the organisation also has the Automated Job Number Sequence configured, in which case we will increment to the next available number.

assist in configuring that with you.

AD-22209 Dashboard Charts > Add a tooltip to explain what each chart shows

We have started adding tooltips to our charts to allow users to better understand what they are showing. If there is a chart we have missed, please let us know and we’ll get that

updated for you.

AD-22443 Admin > Documentation > Add option to include URLs

A little known feature of admation is the ability for an organisation to store a set of Company Documents which users are able to access in a dedicated list. Previously this list

was only able to contain a list of uploaded document files, but we have now added the ability to add URLs to external websites as well.

If you believe your organisation would benefit from having Company Documents in admation, please chat to your Customer Success Manager to help set that up with you.

Bug Fixes

AD-22568 SSO > Links in emails directing users to a login screen

Fixed an issue where users from an organisation using SSO (Single Sign On) to automatically login to admation were instead taken to a login screen when they clicked an admation link in an email.

AD-22703 Spreadsheet View > Column layout issue on some browsers

Fixed a layout issue on some web browsers where the icons for copying and editing a row/field would overlap the next column.

AD-22634 Admin > New User Creation > Blank screen

Fixed an issue where pressing the Enter key while adding a new user account would send you to a blank screen.
