3.119 Release Notes (April 2024)

This document outlines the new features, improvements, bug fixes and other tasks included in this admation release.                   


Release Overview
The focus of the release was to improve the WIP Report as well as other modifications.

                   

Improvements

                   

WIP Report Adjustments

                   

We have spent quite a bit of time working on the WIP Report, making it more useful for organisations with a large number of in progress jobs.

                   

To begin with, there are no longer any limits to the number of jobs that can be shown in the WIP Report and there is a total count of jobs shown as well. We now maintain the sort order of the jobs regardless of the types of jobs you are showing (projects, sub projects or deliverables) so finding a specific job in a long list is easier than ever.

                   

We have also fixed some layout issues in the PDF version of the exported report, as well as updated the style and displayed columns of the Excel version of the export.

AD-21288 Menu Bar > Improve the Approvals counter

                   

We have updated the counter on the Approvals module in the menu bar. Now, if there are no approval requests waiting for your response, the counter will be grey and blend into the background.

However, if you have approval requests, the counter will become orange to stand out.

Resource Management

                   

AD-20876 Allow users to log more time than was originally estimated

                   

Previously, users were unable to log more time against a task than was originally estimated without adjusting the time estimate.

                   

Now, users are able to add more time that was originally estimated while keeping the original estimate in tact. This means that reports can also show where tasks have gone over the original estimate and by how much.

                   

AD-20794 Add the New Task button to the Project Details screen

                   

Users who are able to add tasks to a project can now do this directly from the Project Details screen.
