Release Overview
The focus of this release was to improve the Approvals list and fix a few bugs.
Improvements
AD-21222 Approvals List > Update the Approvals List
We have updated the UI of the Approvals List with a fresh new look. We have also added some new features and updates to assist users when they are reviewing their approvals.
New features/updates include:
- Renaming the Received and Sent tabs to Inbound and Outbound for better distinction.
- Approval Summary column will now display the name of all the reviewers the request has been sent to as well as their status (approve, request changes etc).
- New Approval Submission button has been added to the top left of the page to
allow users to quickly upload deliverables/revisions into new or existing projects
and submit them for review.
- The new Outbound Approval page mirrors the features found on the Inbound list including the, often requested, revision counter. This consistency will make it
easier for a submitter to identify their submissions.
- Fixed a bug where the search panel and column headings would move off screen when scrolling the approval list.
AD-20625 Update Header for Online Briefs
The header on Briefs and Online Documents has been updated to make it more consistent with other pages in the system.
Resource Management
AD-21375 Tasks Lists > Task Type search criteria > Make it easier to see which task types are from which department
Previously, the Task Type search criteria was just an alphabetically sorted list of all task types available to your organisation. This became an issue where an organisation had a lot of task types spread across many departments, or when there were task types with the same name in different departments.
We have now improved the Task Type search module by adding department headings. We have also added checkboxes next to each task type and department heading for quick selection of multiple options.
The Task Type filter is now broken up by Department to make it easier to find the correct types
AD-21374 Timesheets > Non Project Tasks not appearing on Timesheets
Fixed an issue which caused non project tasks to not appear on Timesheets.
Bug Fixes
AD-21258 Approval Submission > Approval deadlines not being applied to all recipients under certain conditions
Fixed a bug where not all approval recipients were being given an approval deadline if one was set. This would occur if there was more than one User Group in the recipient list for a single approval level.
AD-21383 Approval Reservation > Unable to send a message when reserving an approval request to a team member
When a group receives an ANY approval request, they are able to reserve the request either to themselves or to another member of the group. When they do this, the user should be prompted to fill in a message so the person the request was reserved to can be informed of this. However, this prompt was not activated. We have now fixed this issue.
AD-21384 WIP Report > Some jobs not being displayed in the WIP Report
This was caused by a fetch limit of 1000 jobs (including projects, sub projects and deliverables) being exceeded. It is anticipated that, if you really do have over 1000 jobs open, you will likely not be reviewing each and every deliverable within that list and so the deliverables have now been omitted from the initial search. Users ca then optionally use search criteria the reduce the found set of jobs and include deliverables into the results at that time.
AD-21284 Dashboard Charts > Project Stats chart > Labels are cut off
Fixed a minor layout bug in the Project Stats chart where the chart labels were partially hidden.
