3.117 Release Notes (March 2024)

This document outlines the new features, improvements, bug fixes and other tasks included in this admation release.

Release Overview
The focus of this release was to improve the WIP Report module of admation, as well as to improve the Reserve functionality within certain approvals.

Improvements

AD-21165 Approvals > Bulk Reserve

Approval requests sent to a group of/multiple users and specified as an ANY approval (any one person can respond on behalf of this group) are able to be Reserved for a particular person in the group. For example, approval requests may be submitted to a Legal and Compliance team with a team leader being able to reserve the individual requests to specific members of the team to ensure that subject matter experts are used appropriately and that load is spread evenly across responders.

We have now added the ability for requests sent as a batch to be reserved more quickly.

As shown in the image below, simply enter Batch mode within the Full Screen Approval (FSA) view, select the requests you want to reserve and then select the person to whom you want to reserve them. Reserve all requests to one person, or reserve some to person A and others to person B.

Approvers can now reserve multiple items in a batch at once

AD-21214 Approval Details > Show who the request was Reserved for

As mentioned above, approval requests where ANY user is able to give feedback on behalf of a group, can have that request Reserved for a member of that group to respond to. We now show who the request was reserved to in the Approval Details screen.

If an ANY approval has been reserved, you can now see this in the Approval Details screen

AD-21234 Updates to the WIP Report system

In a recent release we made some changes to the look and feel of the WIP Reports page and in this release we are adding and modifying some of the functionality available on this page. These changes include:

  •  Adjusted the hierarchy of the found job list. Sub projects and deliverables will always be shown nested within their project in the correct way
  •  Users are able to show/hide all project, sub project or deliverable objects within a project hierarchy. If you choose to show/hide any of these levels, the system will remember this and reapply the same selections when you next look at the WIP Report screen
  • If you search for specific criteria, your search options are now displayed at the top of the list of found jobs. These criteria are also displayed on the WIP Report file you extract from the system
  • Users can now filter the WIP Report list by a job’s Phase or WIP Status so they can narrow in on any items that are running behind
  • Users are able to save their searches and reapply them later to save time
  • Adjusted the list layout to make projects stand out more

If you would like to know more about the WIP Report and how it can help you keep on top of your work, please reach out your Customer Success Manager and they will be able to walk you through it.

AD-20655 Ad Storage > Search for assets attached to Related Organisations

Admation was designed from the ground up to allow people from different organisations – whether they be brands and their ad agencies, or brands working with other brands – to work together on their projects and artwork approvals.

Now we have also made it easier to search for those assets in the Ad Storage library. For example, searching for a particular organisation will return all assets where that organisation was part of the project. You can then refine your search from there to, for example, see how many assets were added with/for that organisation in the past period.

AD-21045 Update layout for Phase and WIP Status

Previously, in certain situations, we would display the Phase and WIP Status of a project/deliverable with a custom colour as the background and black text showing the phase/status name on top of that colour. However, this reduced the number of text colours we could use. We have now adjusted this layout to have a coloured “dot” next to the phase/status name. This also brings this layout into consistency with other areas of the application.

The previous layout for Phase and WIP Statuses is on the left, and the updated layout on the right

Resource Management

AD-21254 Project Resources > Add filter to show/hide completed tasks

When viewing tasks within a project, we have now added a method of filtering those tasks based on their status. This allows users to omit any completed tasks from this list.

Tasks can be filtered within a project by the task’s status

Bug Fixes

AD-21242 Approvals List > Sent Approvals > Fix top section of page while scrolling

When scrolling the Sent Approvals list, the top section (which included the search bar and column headers) would scroll off screen as you scrolled down the list of approvals. We have now fixed the top section so that it will not scroll as the rest of the page does.
