This document outlines the new features, improvements, bug fixes and other tasks included in this admation release.
Release Overview
The focus of this release was to improve the collaborative ability of our Word Document approvals, and to increment the Dashboard Charts framework.
Improvements
AD-20767 Allow the reviewers and submitter to be working on the same copy of a Word document
We have previously added the Microsoft Web Application Open Platform Interface (WOPI) protocol to admation so that users can edit Word documents directly within the platform.
One of the issues which we encountered was that, once a submitter had sent out a document for approval/feedback, the reviewing of that document became less collaborative.
Now, when submitting a Word document for approval or for feedback, the submitter and the reviewers can all comment on and edit the document together. Once each reviewer has approved the work, the submitter is able to generate a final version which can then be finalised.
AD-20875 Approval Submission > Show a custom approval message
We have added the option for an organisation to include a custom message in the Approval Submission screen. This could be a message to the submitter reminding them of specific instructions for submission, or of a particular nuance of your approval workflow.

If you would like to configure this message for your organisation, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager for more information.
AD-20892 Approval Delegation
Occasionally an approval request will be submitted to you and perhaps you are not the right person to look after this submission, or you’d like to ask someone else to look after it for you as you are short on time. This is where Approval Delegation can assist you by allowing you to delegate this request (or batch of requests) to someone else to look after.
We have prepared a short video to show you how this works.
AD-20969 Ad Storage > Add ability to save searches
Like you have always been able to do in the Projects list, users are now able to save their most commonly used searches to quickly find assets that interest them.
The Ad Storage library now allows you to save your searches
AD-20970 Ad Storage > Search for items currently in market
We have added a quick “In Market Now” search option which allows to quickly find all assets where the Live Start and Live End dates are filled in and the current date is within that range.
The In Market Now search option helps you quickly find assets flagged as being in market currently
AD-20880 Various changes to the Dashboard Charts
We have made some modifications to the Dashboard Charts to account for some real world data issues we encountered.
Logged Hours chart – We have limited the displayed list of Task Types to the 15 most used. This gave space to display the actual chart so it was easy to read.
Logged Hours chart – Added Advertiser, Campaign, Tags and Department to the search filter options.
- Various charts – If only one advertiser is available it will now be selected by default
Various charts – Added ability to save your search for quick use again in future
Various charts – Allow entire chart to be extracted as close to how it is presented on screen as possible.
Resource Management
AD-20879 Timesheets > Set task to ‘In Progress’ once time is logged and saved
When time is logged on a task in the Timesheets view, that task will now be set to In Progress if it hadn’t been started yet.
AD-20878 Timesheets > Searching for weeks, data is out of order
Fixed a bug where the search panel allowing users to search for timesheets for a specific week showed the available weeks in a seemingly random order.
AD-20877 Log Time Modal > Save time logs without needing to click the Add Entry button first
Previously, if you logged time against a task and simply clicked Save without first clicking the Add Entry button, your time would not be logged.
We have now changed this so that clicking either Add Entry or Save will save your logged time.
