Release Overview
The focus of this release was to improve the user experience, particularly in the Full Screen Approval view and Resources section. We also introduced Default Deadlines.
Improvements
AD-1219 Full Screen Approval View update
The previous approval screen had a lot of wasted screen space. This made approving on smaller screens (such as ChromeBooks etc) harder than it should be. As such, we have made changes to the way the Full Screen Approval view looks. Some of these changes are:
Moved project information into a more discrete area with options for easy access when needed (see the “i” in the top left of the attached screen grab)
Important information like Project Name, Deliverable Name, Version Number (not previously visible) and Deadline is now available at the top of screen. Job ID links are now located on the right side of the screen.
Feedback from other Reviewers and any Forwards are also more prominently displayed at the top of the screen.
-
Page Thumbnails for multi page PDFs appear partially off-screen but move into view as you rollover them.
All of these changes and more allow the actual artwork to be larger and become the focus of the screen.
We have made changes to allow the artwork to be the focus of this screen while allowing the viewer to retain access to all of the important information they may need.

AD-1129 Automated Approval Request Deadline
Now an organisation can set a default deadline for any approval submissions. This deadline is specified in work days. For example, if your default approval deadline length is 3 days, and you submit your approval request at 2pm on Tuesday, then your approval deadline will be defaulted to 2pm on Friday. If your default approval deadline length is 4 days and you submit your approval request at 2pm on Tuesday, then your approval deadline will be defaulted to 2pm on Monday.
If you are manually submitting your item to multiple levels, then the days until the deadline will be divided equally between those levels.
Approval Templates can also have default deadlines expressed with each approval level given a different number of days to respond.
If your organisation would like to implement a default deadline then please talk to your admation liaison about setting this up.
As well as setting the default on the levels of Approval Paths (as shown here), an organisation can also have an overall default set. This is so that anytime someone submits an item for approval, regardless of whether they use an Approval Path or not, it will have a default deadline set. If you would like to implement default deadlines, please notify your admation liaison.
-
AD-1217 Ad Storage + Asset Library > Increase number of assets displayed
When viewing the Ad Storage or Asset Library lists, you can now see up to 72 assets per page.
-
AD-1186 Approval Checklist > When forwarding feedback requests, include Checklist details
If you receive an approval request which includes a completed Checklist, now when you forward that item the checklist will be included.
-
AD-902 Approval Submission > If there is only 1 approver on an approval level, default that level to "ALL" approval
Previously, if you submitted an item to an Approval Level where there was only one recipient, you were required to select if you required ALL or ANY of the recipients to respond. If there is only 1 approver, we now default the approval level to be an ALL approval.
Resource Management
These items are only relevant to those organisations who have also purchased our Resource Management module.
-
AD-1218 Department Manager Timeline View > Option to display tasks as list
When viewing the Timeline for a user within the Resources module, we have introduced a new Gantt View which allows a Department Manager to see a list of tasks for each of their resources.
-
AD-420 Changing a task's status without logging time
Now when you Start Work on a task, you can optionally hide the timer. In the background, the system continues to count the time as you work on a task however, when you stop working on the task, it will ask if you want to actually log the time or discard that session and log time manually afterwards. Whilst you are working on a task, the system shows that the task is In Progress.
-
AD-1233 Department Manager View > Display Selected Filters
When searching the Timeline or Task List view, your selected search criteria will now be displayed on screen so you can better understand the data you are looking at.
-
AD-1169 My Task List view
When viewing your Tasks list, it is now easier to see which tasks are to be worked on today as well the task's progress, deadline and status. You can now now see all of your tasks either in a list or on a timeline. You can also filter this list to see tasks for a specific job or advertiser etc.
Bug Fixes
-
AD-1181 Feedback Report > Markup and attached files are temporarily removed under certain conditions
Fixed a bug where any markup and files attached to a feedback response were temporarily hidden under certain conditions.
-
AD-1215 Create/Edit Project > Available list of Markets includes deleted options
When filling in the Markets for a project, the list of available markets was including previously deleted markets as well as the enabled ones. We now omit the deleted markets.
-
AD-1127 Dashboard > Some minor drawing issues
Fixed several layout issues in the Recent Activity component of the Dashboard. There is no change to the actual data displayed, we just tidied it up a bit.
-
AD-1182 Online Forms > Some fields lose their data if a user attaches a file
Fixed a bug where, under specific conditions, data entered into some fields would be deleted if a file was then attached to a form.
-
AD-1216 Online Forms > Uploading files on a new revision will remove files from previous revisions
Previously, if you had a form that accepted a file upload and you created a new revision of that form, the original files you uploaded would be lost if you tried to upload more files to the new revision.
