3.74 Release Notes

Release Overview

The focus of this release was to improve the way we handle forwarded approvals. We also improved usability in the Resource Management module.

Improvements

  • AD-1614 Forwarded Approvals > Warn forwarder if they try to approve an item with outstanding/rejected forwards
If you had received an approval request and forwarded it out for additional feedback, you were able to approve the original submission, even if the forwarded items were rejected or not processed. Now, an organisation can specify if they want items to only be approved if all forwards have also been approved.

In the event that a forward recipient rejects an item by mistake (or the reason they rejected the item is invalid) then the forwarder is able to reset the status and ask the person to look at the item again.

This functionality is optional. If your organisation would like this functionality turned on, please contact your admation client liaison and they will be able to assist you.

  • AD-1615 Approval Details > Show the forwards I have made
When you forward items out to other people for review, you can now see who you forwarded to and what the approval status is, via the Approvals tab.

  • AD-1625 Submission Manager > Remember which view I selected (simple/advanced) and set it as a default
When submitting an item for approval, if you select the Advanced interface, the system will remember this and display it the next time you make a submission.

  • AD-1578 Online Brief > Add team members
We can now add an option to select users within a brief. Once the brief is converted into a new project, the selected users can be added as Project Team Members. Each team member can receive an email when the project is created.

If your organisation would like this functionality added to your brief, please contact your admation client liaison who will be able to assist.

  • AD-1579 Online Brief > Allow many fields to be appended to the Deliverable Overview
When filling in an online brief and converting it to a project, we were able to copy data from one field of the brief into the Deliverable Overview field of a deliverable. Now we are able to copy data from a number of new fields. Ask us how we can better customise your briefs!
  • AD-1467 Dashboard > Saved briefs > Display 'Project Name' next to saved briefs
If you saved a brief, it was displayed in a list with no identifying details. This resulted in users often confusing one saved brief for another. Now, each saved brief will have its name displayed in the list.

AD-1610 Online Brief > Uploaded files > Allow users to preview files in the HTML view

Additional files can be loaded into a brief, and are displayed as a list of filenames. With this month's changes, when you are looking at a brief with these additional files, you can rollover these filenames to see a thumbnail preview of the attached file.

  • AD-1495 Department Manager View > Ability to drag and extend/shorten tasks
Department managers can now quickly adjust the time and dates of a particular task by dragging the task to the new day, or by extending/shortening it.
