3.75 Release Notes

Release Overview

The focus of this release was to add in Approver Checklists. We also improved usability in the Resource Manager and throughout the system.

Improvements

  • AD-1649 Approvals > Allow approvers to fill in a checklist to specify areas they reviewed
When submitting approval requests to specific groups, you can now allocate pre-set checklist which must be filled in before giving feedback. The checklist can contain a default list of Yes/No questions, set by you. These are automatically shown to a User Group (ie 'Web Designers' would receive a different checklist to 'Legal') each time a member of that group receives an approval request.

  • AD-1640 Dashboard > Improve the interface for continuing an partially completed brief
When starting work on a brief and then saving it for later, users found it difficult to understand where their saved briefs were kept. To assist with this, we have now relabelled the "Start Brief" button on the Dashboard to instead read "Start or Continue a Brief". If you have saved a partially completed brief, an orange notification with the number of saved briefs in this section will now appear on the button to indicate this.

  • AD-1636 Project > Documents Tab > Allow user to download multiple documents at once
When viewing the Documents tab in a project, you can now use checkboxes to select and batch download several documents at the same time.

  • AD-1616 Allow organisations to specify a default Usage Rights Expiry date on finalised jobs
When finalising a deliverable, users can now set a Usage Rights Expiry date. We have also added a setting which allows an organisation to set a default Usage Rights Expiry period, if desired. For example, if the default time period for an organisation was 12 months then, at the time of finalisation, the system would set a usage right expiry date of 12 months from now. If that needed to be modified for a particular job, you could change it easily.

  • AD-1638 Online Briefs > Improve deliverable management
For some organisations, a brief can contain a list to create deliverables. However, once the project was created, adding or editing the deliverables in the project didn't update the brief content and vice versa. We have added a new feature to the briefs, which shows the actual deliverables on the brief itself. Any editing in the project or in the brief will be reflected in all places accordingly.

Please talk to your admation liaison if you would like to discuss this further.

Resource Management

Note: These items are only available to organisations who have access to the Resources module. If you would like more information on this, please contact your admation liaison.

AD-1634 Task List UX Improvement

The interface on this screen has been improved for designers viewing their task lists. New features include:

  • Tasks can be grouped together by Project and viewed in the flat list that was previously there. If you switch views, the system will remember this next time you access the list.

  • You will now be able to select multiple tasks and change the status of them as a batch.

  • If your staff are able to assign tasks to themselves, the unassigned tasks will be available in their main list to pick up. You can also show/hide these by using the "Show Unassigned" checkbox.

  • There is a new checkbox to show/hide completed tasks. The system will remember this preference for you.

  • There is now a new tab so users can see any meetings they are involved with.
