3.90 Release Notes (May 2020)

This document outlines the new features, improvements, bug fixes and other tasks included in this admation release.

Release Overview

The focus of this release was to make incremental change throughout the system.

Improvements

AD-1198 & AD-2264 Project > Audit Trail > Include more document details

More details about documents with a job have been added to the Audit Trail. You can now see;

  • Document added to job

  • Document revision added

  • Document submitted for approval (includes a link to the approval details)

  • Document approved/rejected date (previously included)

  • Document deletion

AD-2258 Ad Storage > Bulk edit deliverable details

You are now able to select multiple assets in the Ad Storage list and Batch Edit them. Previously you could only edit the Access Controls on one asset at a time but now, while editing a batch of assets, you are also able to adjust the Access Controls. This means it is now very quick and easy to secure a set of assets and prevent specific people from seeing them.

AD-2276 & AD-2296 Ad Storage and Asset Library > Collapse headings in the Asset Type and Tags search filters by default
Some organisation have a lot of Asset Types and/or Tags that they can apply to their jobs. These are arranged in a hierarchy, for example;

  • Print
    o Poster

    o Flyer

  • Digital

    o eDM
    o Website

When searching the Ad Storage or Asset Library by Asset Type or Tags previously, the full list of options was available to select in the search filter and could be collapsed or expanded to make it easier to navigate. This list is now “collapsed” by default. In the above example, Print and Digital would be visible and you could expand them to see the Poster, Flyer, eDM and Website etc.

AD-2326 Full Screen Approval View > Make the inbound checklists stand out more

Checklists can be set up that users need to complete before they can approve artwork etc. The checklists were often overlooked by users and so we have called them out a little more.

If your organisation would like to discuss check lists further, please contact your client success manager and they will be able to assist you.

Resource Management

Resource Management is a separate module of admation. If you would like to find out more about it, please contact your admation liaison and they will be able to assist.

AD-2242 & AD-2268 Display logged time for a task in various views

It is now easier to see how much time has been logged against a task from various list views.

AD-2287 When loading tasks from a template, improve the way we set the dates/times on tasks
If you set up a job with a lot of tasks, you can then save this as a template to use on future jobs. The first task in a template starts on “day 1” and subsequent tasks may start on future dates (eg day 2 or day 3).

Using a template to set up the tasks for your jobs saves a lot of time but the dates that a task was due to start were not retained and tasks created from the imported template would all start on “day 1”.

Now, the first task in the template will start on day 1 and all other tasks will observe the correct offset in days as was specified on the original template.

AD-2226 Assign Task and Assign Meeting Views > Time shown upside down

When displaying a timeline, each day should start at the top (eg 9am) and end at the bottom (eg 5pm). Fixed this on a couple of screens.

AD-2261 Meetings > Times are not always shown accurately

Fixed an issue where meeting times were not displayed correctly in some spots.

Bug Fixes

AD-2240 Dashboard > Approval Submission > Doesn’t support Conditional Approvals

Fixed an issue where approval submissions started directly from the dashboard weren’t acknowledging requests that had previously been conditionally approved.

AD-2201 Online Forms > Date Range Selection > dates are set to the same time of day

When setting a date range in a brief, the start date and end date were both set to midnight on the selected date. If the date range was one day, the two dates were set to the same time which meant that there was no range. Now, the first date will be set to the start of that date (00:00 am) and the second date will be set to end of the date (23:59 pm).

AD-2215 Online Forms > Estimate/Quote > Commas in line items stop the totals from being calculated
When filling in an estimate form, adding commas in the line item cost field would prevent the totals from being calculated.

AD-2294 Online Forms > Estimate/Quote > Duplicating line items bug

Fixed a bug that prevented line items being duplicated.

AD-2259 Reports > Disabled reports still visible to users

Fixed a bug that made disabled reports remain available to users.

AD-2225 Files corrupted on upload and require a re-upload

Fixed an issue where some files uploaded to specific servers would occasionally get corrupted and require uploading again. This mostly affected users in North and South America.
