This document outlines the new features, improvements, bug fixes and other tasks included in this admation release.
Release Overview
The focus of this release was in the Full Screen Approval (FSA) view where we have added functionality as well as fixing some UI bugs that had crept in over time.
Improvements
AD-2524 Full Screen Approval View > Batch Mode > Full Size Display for online ads
As an approver who has received a batch of artworks to look at, you were able to enter Batch Mode within the Full Screen Approval view (FSA view) and see thumbnails of each item you were giving feedback on. We have now taken this a step further for animated gifs and HTML 5 ads by allowing you to see the different artworks in their native size.
This feature is intended for use with animated gifs and HTML5 banner ads where motion can be monitored and checked for consistency.
AD-2340 Full Screen Approval View > FYI recipient to view artwork in Read Only mode
Admation offers rich approval functionality for artworks and documents, but also gives users the flexibility to include FYI recipients in an approval request. This allows you to keep some people up to date with progress without opening the doors to them feeling the need to offer their own formal feedback.
Up to now, FYI recipients would receive a message in the system with a link to download the file that was sent for approval. Now, these users will be able to navigate into the FSA view to see the artwork, similarly to how an approver would see it, but in a read only capacity. Any feedback offered by the approvers will also be visible to the FYI recipient so they can get an even better idea of progress.
AD-1924 Forwarding Approval Requests > Add option to include Manual Approvals
Some organisations are configured to allow what we call Manual Approvals. This gives greater control to the submitter over when feedback for an approval request will be received as they are able to lock and unlock an approval request whenever they want to. Similar functionality has now been added to Forwarded Approval Requests.
When an approver forwards an approval request, they will be able to manually lock the request when they are ready to do so. This will prevent additional feedback coming in after they have already processed the request themselves. If needed, they will also be able to unlock the request to allow feedback to come in again if necessary.

AD-2490 Full Screen Approval View > Allow Straight Line tool to draw multiple lines
We have added a new tool which allows you to draw multiple straight lines.
AD-2527 & AD-2553 Update and make consistent all email notifications
We have spent a lot of time adjusting the email notifications we send in order to make them more useful to recipients and more consistent so that important information stands out more. As part of this, we have also adjusted the links in some emails so that they direct you to a more appropriate part of the system.
For example, if you are added as a team member on a project, the link in the email will now take you to that project and not to the messages list in the system. If a new task is assigned to you, the link in the email will take you to your Tasks list.
AD-2529 Duplicating a Project > Process Deliverables in a known order
Previously, when duplicating a project, deliverables would be duplicated in a somewhat random order which could lead to confusion in the new project if the deliverables were named in a specific way. Deliverables are now processed in the same order as they appear in the UI and will retain this order in the new project.
AD-1384 Dashboard > Recent Activity > Remove approval requests if the user has already actioned them
Approval requests will now be removed from your Recent Activity once you have actioned them.
AD-2101 Dashboard > Recent Activity > Callout notifications for Messages and Approvals
We have added callouts to the Recent Activity section of the Dashboard to better alert users to there being messages and/or approval requests waiting for them.
AD-2056 Briefs > Add option to the date picker to exclude weekends
Date pickers in briefs can now automatically select a date X days in the future while excluding weekends if required.

Bug Fixes
AD-2557 Brief Loaded Against a Sub Project > Deliverable Manager has wrong deliverables shown
Fixed a bug where the deliverables attached to the main project would be displayed in a brief that was attached to a sub project within the main project. We now display the deliverables from the sub project.
AD-2537 Agency Job Number > Exclude sub projects when incrementing
Organisations are able to set up the Agency Job Number field to automatically increment. However, there was a bug where each sub project would increment the count but that these new numbers would not be applied to any jobs. We have now prevented the Agency Job Number from incrementing automatically on sub projects.

AD-2530 FSA View > Collate Feedback > Don’t scroll to the top of the page when selecting whose markup you want to see
Previously, if you had received feedback from multiple people and you were selecting which people’s feedback you wanted to view, the screen would scroll back to the top when you selected a person. Now the list stays as is with the newly selected person’s comments being added to the list.
AD-2353 FSA View > Go directly to specific comment when accessing via an email link
If someone tags you on a mark up, you will receive an email to notify you of this. If you click the link in the email, you will be taken to the Full Screen Approval view and the comment you are tagged on will be at the top of the list.
AD-2453 FSA View > Replying to a comment hides the original comment
Fixed a bug where if a user replied to a markup, the UI where they would type their comment would obscure the original comment.
AD-2528 Messages > Send button is hidden when the message is too long
In certain circumstances when writing a message, the Send button was hidden and you were unable to send a message.
