Release Overview
The focus of this release was to focus on the ability to group messages together.
Improvements
AD-2192 Allow messages to be grouped together so it is easier to see the full conversation
Messages are a big part of admation and, like emails, can end up as a long conversation between many people across several messages. This can lead to messages getting lost or parts of the conversation being missed or forgotten. To help counter this, we have introduced Message Grouping.
From the Global Messages List, you can now opt to “Group Messages”. This will pull all the messages from a conversation together and present them as a list rather than just as one long message.
AD-2707 Approval Details > Allow team members to see that an approver forwarded the submission for additional feedback
Sometimes when you submit an approval request to a person, they may need to forward it on to other people to get their feedback before it can be approved. As the initial submitter, or any team member, it is hard to know if your approvers have forwarded the request on and are just waiting for additional feedback or not.
We have added an interface to the Approval Details screen which allows project team members to see whether an approver has forwarded the request on and if they are still waiting on feedback or not. This allows you to see where your submission is up to and keeps you informed of your submission’s progress.
Please note that, due to privacy concerns, we do not show you who the approver has forwarded the request on to, just that it was forwarded, how many people/groups it was forwarded to and the approval status of that forward.
AD-2586 Approval Details > Show the Submission Team
When submitting an approval request, you are able to set a Submission Team. This selection will now be displayed on the Approval Details screen to make it easier to understand who was notified of any feedback.
AD-2748 Document Summary > Show approval information
A project/deliverable can have many documents attached to it. These documents can be submitted for approval. But it was hard to tell whether a document had been submitted without needing to dig into it. Now this information is displayed right in the summary view.
AD-2723, AD-2724, AD-2725 & AD-2751 New Email Notifications
We have added some new email notifications to the system. The new notifications are;
Deliverables Added – This will email you if a new deliverable is added to a project which you are a team member of.
Documents Added - This will email you if a new document is added to a project which you are a team member of.
Document Revisions Added - This will email you if a new revision is added to an existing document in a project which you are a team member of.

Production Files Added - This will email you if a new production file is added to a project which you are a team member of.
By default, these emails are enabled but you can disable them from your Email Preferences screen. To access that, click your name in the menu bar and select the Settings option, then go to the Email Preferences screen from there.
AD-2762 Online Forms > Include the content of a specific field in the downloaded PDF file name
When configuring an online document, we are now able to specify a field whose content will be included in the file name of any PDF generated from that brief.
We have included this because we found users were downloading a copy of their briefs from a lot/all of their jobs and they all had the same file name. This new feature will allow you to better understand the content of a particular brief without needing to open it.
AD-2692 Admin > Disabled User Account > Automatically remove from User Groups and Administrators list
If a user leaves your business or is on extended leave, you may want to disable their account. These users will now be removed from the list of available administrators and from any User Groups as required.
AD-2746 Admin > Disabled User Account > Prompt to remove from approval Template
If a user leaves your business or is on extended leave, you may want to disable their account. Previously, if these users were part of an approval template, they would just remain in the template and would be added to approval requests which the template was used for.
If the user account that is being disabled is part of an approval template, the administrator will be alerted as to which templates the account is in and prompt them to edit those templates to ensure that the correct users are included in them.
Bug Fixes
AD-2691 Approval Submission > Existing Project list > Sorting the list gives a bug screen
Fixed a bug where a user going to the Dashboard and selecting the Approval Submission > Existing Project option couldn’t then sort the project list in any way.
AD-2767 “Any” Approval request > The Reserve button appears at the wrong time
Fixed a bug where the Reserve button may appear at the incorrect time under certain conditions.
AD-2663 Deliverable Details > HTML files not previewing
Within a project, when viewing the details of a deliverable, if the artwork file was an HTML page, there would be no preview available. This has now been fixed.
AD-2573 Ad Storage > File downloads not recorded in some scenarios
When downloading an artwork file from specific pages in the Ad Storage system, the downloads were not recorded. This has now been fixed.
AD-2551 Approvals > Act on Behalf > Reply to a comment > My own name is displayed
Fixed a bug where a user’s own name was recorded against a reply to some feedback if the user was acting on behalf of another person.
AD-2556 Full Screen Approval view > Adding an annotation > If you change the colour of your annotation, the system would forget this when you added the next annotation Previously if you selected a colour for your annotation in the FSA view, if you then wanted to then add additional annotations, you would need to select your colour again. Now we will remember your selected colour until you change it again or you enter the screen again.
AD-2683 Forwarding an Approval Request > Include My Markups > Previews for Word documents do not work
Fixed an issue with Word document approvals where forwarding an approval request and including my own feedback would prevent the document from rendering in the system.
