3.100 Release Notes (September 2021)

This online outlines the new features, improvements, bug fixes and other tasks included in this admation release.

Release Overview

The focus of this release was to improve search options thought the system, as well as to improve the Resources system.

Improvements

AD-2743 Projects > Add a Quick Search option

We have added a Quick Search option to the Projects list. When the Projects list loads, the Quick Search field is ready for you to type your search criteria into. You are able to search on job ID, name, agency job number or keywords. If your search garners a single result, you will automatically be taken into that job.

We added this because there were just too many clicks to open the search panel, fill in criteria and access your jobs, and we hope this will help make your searching more efficient.

AD-2717 Projects List > Search by Date Range

The projects list now allows you to search for jobs based on the date they were created, their supply deadline or their live (in market) dates.

AD-2651 Reduce the Emails Sent When Users Respond to a Batch Approval

Previously, if I sent a batch of artworks for you to approve, and you approved them as a batch, I would receive an individual email for each artwork letting me know that the status had changed.

Now, if you process these artworks as a batch, I will receive a single email detailing the updates on each item.

AD-2801 New Document Added to Job > Email Notification Updates

If a document is added to a job, there is an automated email that can be sent to all team members on the job. We have adjusted the format of this email to give more information about the document/s that were added.

Please note that these emails can be turned off as part of your Settings configuration. Please reach out to your Client Success Manager if you would like to know more about this.

AD-2828 Ad Storage & Asset Library > Search for Archived assets

Previously, if you were looking for an Archived asset in the Ad Storage or Asset Library, you had to “include” archived assets in your search results and there was no way to “exclude” non archived assets.

Now, the search filters allow you to find only archived assets, only non archived assets, or a combination of both.

Bug Fixes

AD-2779 Approval View > Batch Response Modal will not open

Fixed a bug where the Batch Response Modal window would not display under certain circumstances.

AD-2779 Approval View > Batch Response > “Apply to Batch” unavailable

Fixed a bug where the Apply to Batch button would be mistakenly disabled under certain circumstances.

AD-2789 Feedback Report > Support for situations where markups span more than one page
In some situations there may be a lot of comments you want to make on a page of artwork and, when the Feedback Report is generated, these comments were spanning many pages and causing some layout issues.

Now, the page image itself will be displayed on the first page with markups listed to the right of it. If these markups span many pages, they will now continue onto the following page as required.

AD-2803 Online Briefs > PDF > Show that there were “no files” attached to the brief

In a brief where there is the ability for a user to upload additional files, we display these files as a list of links on the resultant PDF. However, some people were receiving a completed brief and expecting there to be files attached, but there was nothing in this list. This made them wonder if the user didn’t upload the files or whether the system just wasn’t displaying them.

If there are no files uploaded in a brief we now display a message to let the reader know this is the case.

AD-2812 Briefs > PDF > Download links fail for SSO users

If a brief was completed and there were documents attached to it, when viewing the PDF of the brief these documents would be listed as attachments. However, if your organisation uses Single Sign On (SSO) to access admation then these links would not work.

AD-2836 Online Forms > Tag Lists > Filter out tags from different Tag Groups

Some online forms and briefs have a checkbox list available which will allow a user to select specific tags from a specific tag group. However, if a project already had tags assigned to it then these tag selections on the brief would populate with ALL selected tags, and not just the ones for the specific tag group we are looking at. This has now been fixed.

Resource Management

Resource Management is a separate module of admation. If you would like to find out more about it, please contact your client success manager and they will be able to assist.

AD-2698 “By Project” View > Allow for searching by Advertiser and Campaign

When viewing your tasks By Project, you can now filter the list of projects by their advertiser or campaign.

AD-2831 Admin > Option to set a BAU percentage for a resource

As a manager, it is easy to add tasks to a person and fill up their day, but it is also important to remember they have BAU work -- such as emails, phone calls and the like -- to achieve as well. Now a user can have a daily BAU percentage applied to them.

This basically sets the start point of their day as X% full rather than completely empty and will prompt a manager to move tasks around to account for the unscheduled BAU work that happens between tasks.

AD-2817 Gantt View > Add option to see 3 months and 12 months of tasks

When viewing the Gantt view of tasks for individuals, we have added options to see tasks for the next 3 and 12 months. This allows users to see what is happening with those long projects.

AD-2814 Assigning tasks based on the percentage of the assignee’s day

Sometimes you have a long task or a big project where you want your staff to set aside a percentage of their day to focus. Previously a manager would have had to assign tasks based on a number of hours but now we allow flexible tasks to be based on a percentage of the assignee’s day.

AD-2832 Admin Section > User Account > Display total working hours per week

In the Admin section, a user can set their business hours for each day of the week to allow the system to determine how many tasks can be assigned to them. In the user account, we now display the total number of work hours are available per week for this user.
