This page outlines the new features, improvements, bug fixes and other tasks included in this admation release.
Release Overview
The focus of this release was to improve the new Timesheet feature as well as making a few small changes elsewhere throughout the system.
Improvements
AD-2911 Project Details > Submit for Approval/Feedback button layout change
In the previous release we added an option to submit artwork for Feedback rather than for Approval, however the button to do this was slightly hidden away. We have now moved the button so it is easier to find.
NOTE: Submitting work for Feedback is a configurable option. If you feel that your business may benefit from this feature, please contact your Customer Success Manager and they will be able to discuss this with you.
AD-2910 Approvals > Show the number of markups in the Approval Details screen
When being asked to give feedback or approve and piece of work, approvers are able to add markups/comments but still hit the Approve button. This can make it difficult for the submitter to see that there are comments because they see that the work is approved and don’t go looking for any details.
To help with this, we have added a counter to the Approval Details screen as well as the email the submitter will receive when feedback/approval is given. This counter shows the number of markups/comments that were added in total by all respondents. In the Approval Details screen we also show a breakdown or markups per respondent.
AD-2909 Feedback Submissions > Adjust status names
Previously, when responding to an Feedback Request, a user had two to three options available to them when making a decision. They would decide that their feedback was either:
Positive
Neutral (this option is configurable and can be hidden)
-
Negative
However, some users felt that the “Negative” option was too harsh and could be seen as criticism and so we are changing the status names. The new statuses will be labelled as:
Great!
Neutral (this option is configurable and can be hidden)
-
Suggestions
Functionally, nothing changes. This is just an update to the status names.
AD-2912 New User Accounts > Adjust default working hours
The default working hours for new user accounts have been adjusted to be 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday with a one hour lunch break. This an easily be adjusted on a user-by-user basis in the User Administration section.
Resource Management
AD-2903 Timesheets > Add Tasks and Meetings while viewing your timesheet
Now you are able to quickly add a task or meeting to the system while viewing your timesheet. This makes it easy to add information to your timesheet without needing to exit and go to other interfaces to do so.
AD-2902 Timesheets > Account for Meetings
Meetings will now contribute towards a users logged time for the purposes of their timesheets.
AD-2905 Timesheets > Account for Public Holidays and Away Days
Public Holidays and Away Days which are logged in admation will now contribute towards a users logged time for the purposes of their timesheets.
AD-2904 Timesheets > Daily minimum hours before you can submit a timesheet
Individual users can now have a feature set which prevents them from submitting a timesheet unless they have included logged time which fills their entire work day for the week. This time can be made up of BAU time, tasks, meetings and/or away days.
To specify that an individual must fill in their full hours before submitting their timesheet, simply go to the User Administration area and set the Timesheet Submission field to Yes.
AD-2908 Timesheets > Allow assignees to edit/delete tasks
Within their timesheet, users are able to edit or delete a task which has been assigned to them regardless of who created the task or assigned it. This is to facilitate users managing their own timesheets without needing to request actions be made on tasks thus slowing down their ability to complete a timesheet.
AD-2907 Timesheets > BAU time is now rounded to the nearest 0.25 hour increment
Via the User Administration section, each user can have a percentage of their work day assigned to BAU (Business As Usual) work. When calculating a user’s timesheet, BAU work is rounded to the nearest 0.25 hour increment.
