What is Versioning?
Versioning is a really great feature in admation that allows you to keep track of the different artwork revisions running through the system.
Most people who don't use products like admation may label files with a V1, V2 or V3 in their file names. Sound familiar?
Luckily for you, admation keeps track of these revisions for you!
Where Can I Keep Track of Artwork Revisions?
Each time you add a new artwork revision to the system, admation counts how many versions of artwork there are. There are many places to keep track of artwork revisions including:
-
On the Projects lis
From your Projects list, you'll need to ensure that Projects Only is unticked.
For deliverables in the rows marked with a box , you'll see a new column for Revs. The number in the Revs column represents the number of revisions currently loaded to any deliverable.
-
On the deliverable
From the Projects list, click into your project. Then navigate to the deliverable you'd like to review. At the top of the page, you'll see a counter.
-
From the approval details page
Users with access to a project can also view an item's version number on the approval details page. The approval details page is available both within a project, your approvals sent menu, and within a project's audit trail.
-
From the approvals dashboard
Users who receive artwork for approval can keep track of the version count on the right hand side of the approvals dashboard.
-
From the review page
Users who receive artwork for approval can also view the version number when they click into the work.
-
In a revision report
Users can also subscribe to daily and/or weekly emailed revision reports for each and every piece of artwork that's loaded into the system for your brand. Ask our support team to add you to these reports.
You may also like to download different versions of artwork from the audit trail section of a project or deliverable.
