Reference Codes We Use When You Require Support from our Team
You might see references to different identification numbers within the system. Deliverable IDs and Project IDs are best used for support purposes. If you have an issue, simply quote the relevant ID number. You can also quote the unique code that you might find on a bug screen – one we call the ladybug screen.
Not sure where to find that info? This guide shows you where to look for deliverable and project IDs.
The Difference Between a Deliverable ID and a Project ID
Deliverable IDs and Project IDs are kept separate in the system so that we can identify where and when there are issues to be resolved. If you are experiencing issues with a given project or deliverable, an admation support team member may ask you for one of these IDs.
A project and all of its deliverables will share the same Project ID. A deliverable will have an additional identification number, known as the Deliverable ID.
How do I Find my Job ID within a project?
The easiest way to find an ID is to go directly to that project or deliverable. Click the job from your Projects menu. A project will always have a folder icon next to it in from the project view. A Job ID is found in the top right hand corner of the project details screen.
How do I Find my Deliverable ID within a project?
If it’s a deliverable you’re after, select the relevant deliverable from that side menu. A deliverable is an individual piece of artwork. A deliverable is often loaded into admation for approval within a project.
Deliverables can include things like draft EDM campaigns, TV Commercial, brochures, posters, websites, remarketing campaigns or website landing pages. From this menu, they're shown without a folder icon next to them. Sometimes deliverables may have icons next to them to represent whether or not they've been approved by your co-workers in admation.
For a project, a Job ID is found on the right hand side of your screen.
To find your Deliverable ID, go to the specific marketing deliverable you are after. Your Project ID is still available under this view, on the far right hand side of your screen. The Deliverable ID is found under your version number.
Quote these numbers to assist with your support request. They may also be used for internal reporting purposes.
Finding ID Numbers on the Projects List
Both Project ID and Job ID numbers are also available under the ID column under your Projects list. Project IDs are always shown in bold in this view.
Finding ID Numbers on an Approval
Approvers without access to the direct project can find both their project ID and deliverable ID in the top right hand corner of their approval.
They can also find it under their approvals menu bar next to their un-actioned approvals.
You can also apply filters in the top left hand corner, or remove the default Pending status to view all approvals, even the ones you've actioned previously.
Finding an Error or Support Code on a Bug Screen
From time to time, you may experience an error screen in admation. When an error occurs, you'll notice a page like this:
From this page, you can lodge a ticket with admation support, or copy and paste the string of randomly generated letters and numbers into an email, so that our support team can assist you further.
