Reviewing the Approval Workflow for Work Using the Audit Trail

Admation's audit trail system for artwork approvals is powerful, allowing for full transparency and accountability across decisions made in your approval workflow.

To find out when work was submitted for approval using the audit trail, head to your Project page and scroll down to the very bottom of the page. You should find your audit trail with the 5 most recent actions in your project.

Click the blue arrow icon Screen_Shot_2019-09-30_at_2.12.54_pm.png to view all audited actions for your project.

For any eligible deliverables with artwork added, you'll need to click another blue arrow Screen_Shot_2019-11-04_at_2.04.47_pm.png typically found along the right column of your screen.

From this screen, you'll be able to view more information about that specific deliverable or deliverable revision.

Determining Who Has Approved Work in Admation

To find out who originally saw and approved the work, focus on the Approval Status section.

This section shows the different approval levels, approval type (any vs all), and date-stamps for each person's response.

Determining When Someone Has Acted on Behalf

A two-person icon Screen_Shot_2019-12-31_at_4.10.10_pm.png represents a decision that's been made on behalf of another person. Hover over this field to see who approved (or rejected) the work.

Determining When Work Has Been Forwarded to Someone Else

When work has been forwarded, you will see another status icon.

The coloured icon shows the current status of the forwarded responses. You can click the down arrow Screen_Shot_2019-12-31_at_4.20.19_pm.png to find out more about work that's been forwarded.

Click the i icon Screen_Shot_2019-09-30_at_2.10.37_pm.png to view the same auditing page for the forwarded items.

You can also review the original comments left by each person from this page.

Recalled Requests

As of admation 3.94, you can now recall approval requests if you've made a mistake during a submission. If a request is recalled, we'll label it as such in your audit trail.
