Loading a Resource Template to a Project

If you would like to start using resource templates, you may like to create and save a resource template via an existing project. 

Resource templates are made via a project, and are therefore found under the Projects list. Click the project you're after then click the Project Resources button at the top right of the project.

Click on the Template dropdown. From the dropdown list, select the Load Template option.

Select the template you require from the menu on the left hand side of the resulting screen. Then specify the new project's Start Date. Once you have done this, click Select Template.

The resource allocations from your template will be applied to your project. If your original template had tasks starting on different days, the loaded template will offset the dates, based on the new start date you provided above. Basically this means less guess work and manual planning for you! 

Your screen will show you the resource template with its unassigned tasks. Next, you may want to edit a task to assign it to your team members.
