Creating a Task from Feedback Mode

Creating a Task from Feedback Mode

To access feedback mode, go to the Full Screen Approval view. This is where users can annotate and leave comments on work. In the top right hand side of your screen, you’ll see a Settings Cog Screen_Shot_2019-09-30_at_2.10.56_pm.png icon. Then click into Feedback Mode.

Feedback mode is an area of admation where you have the ability to edit your feedback, before passing it onto other people. Check out this guide to find out how.

Note that from feedback mode, you can also do things like Send Feedback as a PDF Attachment or Create Tasks with the Edited PDF attachment.

Feedback mode is almost a kind of draft mode – that saves your changes – but doesn't overwrite the original feedback that was given. Feedback mode looks something like this.

To create your task, click the Create task with PDF Attachment button at the top of your page.

Creating Your Task

Fill in your task details and deadlines as required or check out this guide for more information about filling out your tasks.

Under the Task Details & Attachments tab, the edited feedback PDF report and deliverable will be automatically attached to the task as a reference for your task assignee.

Under the Task Assignee and Execution tab, you'll be able to assign task types and deadlines. With regular permissions, you can assign a task to yourself from the dropdown. You may also leave a task Unassigned. Accounts with additional permissions can assign tasks to anyone within their organisation.

Visually Assigning a Task to Another User (Advanced)

With the right permissions, you may notice an extra button to Virtually Assign a task to a team member at the bottom of your screen. This option is available to admation users with access to the Resource Manager and allows you to see the workload for all users at a given time. You can then Drag and Drop the task to a user whenever they're free to complete it.

To drag and drop a task, hold the grey dots Screen_Shot_2019-12-23_at_2.20.42_pm.png at either end of the task. Drop the task wherever a given user is free.

You will also see a person's capacity displayed at the top of a given day, as well as any existing tasks (in your company's colour), any breaks (highlighted in turquoise), any meetings (highlighted in black), and the task's actual deadline, displayed as a red vertical line across the calendar.

Once you're done, click Done Assigning. You'll be able to see your changes under the Resources menu at the top of your screen!
