Comparing Revisions of Work from Within a Project

Comparing Versions of Work from a Project

By default, users approving work have the ability to compare versions of work in their approval view, for versions 2 or higher. In the event that you'd like to compare revisions, as a file uploader or project owner, you also have the ability to compare revisions of work from within an admation project.

To start, head to a given project from your Projects list, and click on a specific deliverable from your project structure on the left hand side of your screen.

When you do so, you should see the current version of the deliverable in the centre of your screen.

Click on the Settings Icon Screen_Shot_2019-09-30_at_2.10.56_pm.png near the top right hand corner of the current version of work. Then click Compare Revisions.

Admation will then show two versions of work side by side, with a record of any previous shares of the file. You can use the dropdowns to toggle between the different versions of work.

You may also Zoom in and out, or toggle to see comments on the Left Revision and Right Revision, using the left hand side panel.

If you would prefer to see one version of work at a time, you can also Switch to Single View in the top right hand corner. The single view retains the same functionality, with one piece of work on the screen at a time. It looks like this.
