Responding to Mandatory Approval Checklists

Approval checklists can be set up for reviewers in admation, to ensure consistency when approving work. Approval Checklists can be set up for either:

  • NEW! Individuals: All individuals across the organisation can see and respond to the same checklist for each and every approval
  • Specific Groups: Specific teams or user groups looking to have a role-specific checklist for any work that's sent through to their group

Filling out an Approval Checklist

Where eligible users are sent an approval request, checklists need to be completed to standard before approving work. Approval checklists are optional when requesting changes. 

Approval checklists work very much like a multi-choice quiz. If you have an approval checklist to complete, click the Approval Checklist button in the top right hand corner of your screen to open up your questions.

Note that admation will prompt you if you try to approve your work without filling out the checklist to standard.

Read the questions and select the buttons to answer each question. Ensure that you have read the questions and have filled the forms in properly. You can also add Notes to your checklist responses if you need to substantiate your claims or provide more detail on your responses.

Likewise, you can delete any unneeded notes by clicking the trash icon Screen_Shot_2019-09-30_at_4.12.38_pm.png.

Filling out a Checklist to Certain Standards

Certain checklists may be configured to prohibit you from approving work where the checklist questions haven't been answered to standard, so make sure you read through and complete these questions (and their requirements) carefully. Your checklist will turn green when it has been completed to standard, or will show an orange colour with instructions if that is not the case.

As of admation 3.98, your approval checklists may also have additional text at the bottom of the checklist with a link. Where required, please follow the instructions provided in that section of the checklist.

Once your checklist has been completed and shows a message in green, click Completed on your checklist, then submit your feedback by clicking Approve (or changes) in the top left hand corner of your screen.
