Adding Deliverables when Creating Your Project

Adding Deliverables when Creating Your Project

Deliverables are the marketing outputs your team will be creating for a given campaign. Examples of deliverables may be:

  • catalogues
  • banners
  • remarketing ads
  • eDMs

Supported File Types for Deliverables in admation

Deliverables refer to the items you would like approved.

As of admation 3.92, approvers are now able to provide mark up on MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel files in the system!

We also support the following deliverable formats including:

  • PDF files including single and multi-page files;
  • PNG files;
  • JPG or JPEG files;
  • HTML 5 Banner Ad files;
  • Website URLs;
  • Static GIF files;
  • MP4 video files

You can upload Adobe files (.PSD, .INDD) as Production files which are discussed here. Files such as .PPT, .DOC, .DOCX, .XLS can be added either under the documents tab, or as a deliverable.

Adding Deliverables When Creating Your Project

The following steps assume that you do not use briefs to start your projects. If you use briefs and have the option to add deliverables within that brief, check out these steps instead.

Start off by following the instructions to create a new project.

After you have added your project information, click Add Deliverables. You will see three different options you can use to create your deliverables.

  • Option 1: If you have your files ready, Upload files from your computer to the project
  • Option 2: Create Empty Deliverables so that team members can upload files later, or create Web Deliverables with a website link
  • Option 3: If you’re re-hashing a previous campaign, you can use files that you have previously loaded into the platform as a starting point.

Option 1: Project with Deliverables to Upload

Attach files from your computer to your project by clicking the Browse button. You can also drag and drop one file (or multiple files) into the allocated area. Once all files are uploaded, click Done.

Repeat this process as required to create additional deliverables.

Option 2: Project with Empty or Web Deliverables

If you are creating a project where deliverable files are yet to be created, click Add Empty Deliverables and specify the number of empty deliverables for the project and then select the Add Deliverables button. Use the checkboxes to select the deliverable type(s) from the list. Then add a number to select the number of deliverables you'd like to add. Then click Add Deliverables.

Deliverable rows will be created where you can enter additional details for each deliverable, with the option to add your files later.

As of Admation 3.93, we've introduced the ability to add HTML styled text to your overview field, providing unprecedented flexibility to provide more information about your files within a project.

Adding Web Deliverables to Your Project

A web deliverable refers to anything that you can access by a Staging Link or Website URL. To add a Web Deliverable to your project, click Add Web Deliverables and choose the deliverable type from the resulting menu. Specify the number of website URLs needed for the project and then click Add Deliverables.

Enter a name for your link, then type and include the URL of where the test site(s) can be found. If a password is required to access the site (ie. a staging site), enter this information in this section too.

Option 3 : Re-run Existing Assets

To use files that you have previously loaded into the platform, click Browse Ad Storage.

A pop will link you to the Ad Storage library which is a collection of any items you may have used and finalised from a previous campaign. Select the asset(s) you want to rerun using the checkboxes Screen_Shot_2019-10-10_at_8.34.09_am.png, then click Re-run Selected.

The resulting deliverable screen shows empty deliverables where you’ll need to add artwork by clicking Upload File. However, all the original deliverable information, such as the name and deliverable type, will be copied over.

Bulk Editing Deliverables

To make bulk changes to your assets, you can use the empty checkboxes on the left side of your screen to select the appropriate deliverables, then click the Grouped Pencil Icon Screen_Shot_2020-01-31_at_3.47.35_pm.png to make your changes.

Click the checkbox to select a field that you'd like to edit for the deliverables you selected earlier. Make your changes then click Apply Changes to Selected Deliverables.

Once you have added your deliverables, click Create Project.

Your project members will be notified that a new project has been created via an in-system and email notification. Great work! Your project has been created.

All Project Team members can find the project from their Projects list. You might want to consider sending these items off for approval when you're ready to do so.
