Duplicating a Project, Sub-Project or Deliverable

Duplicating a Project, Sub-Project or Deliverable

Projects, sub-projects and deliverables can easily be duplicated or copied in admation. To start, head to your Projects menu and find the project you'd like to duplicate. If you're wanting to duplicate a project that you've previously finalised, follow these steps to find that project first.

Look to the folder structure along the left hand side of your project. For the project, sub-project or deliverable, you'd like to duplicate, click the Settings Icon.

Duplicating a Project

When you click the Settings Icon Screen_Shot_2019-09-30_at_2.10.56_pm.png next to a project, you'll see an option to Duplicate Project. You'll then have the option to rename the project and any deliverables within the project. Click the grey x icon Screen_Shot_2019-10-03_at_3.27.36_pm.png if you would like to remove any of the sub-folders or deliverables you'll otherwise be copying across to your new project.

In this instance, if you delete a sub-folder, you'll be deleting all deliverables associated to it too.

Click Save once you're happy with your changes. The resulting project copies across all project details and team members, but removes any artwork, documents, files or approvals associated with the original project, leaving a great foundation for a similar project.

From here, you may also like to copy the brief across from the other project.

Duplicating a Sub-Project

When you click the Settings Icon Screen_Shot_2019-09-30_at_2.10.56_pm.png next to a sub-project, you'll see an option to Duplicate Sub-Project.

When you duplicate a sub-project, you'll also have the option to copy across any existing deliverables under that sub-project. From the next screen, you can rename the sub-project and any deliverables within the project. Click the grey x icon Screen_Shot_2019-10-03_at_3.27.36_pm.png if you would like to remove any of the deliverables you'll otherwise be copying across to your new project.

Your new sub-project copies across all sub-project details and any remaining deliverables, but removes any artwork, documents, files or approvals associated with the original deliverables, leaving a great foundation for a slightly modified set of deliverables.

Duplicating a Deliverable

When you click the Settings Icon Screen_Shot_2019-09-30_at_2.10.56_pm.png next to a sub-project, you'll see an option to Duplicate Deliverable.

When you duplicate a deliverable, you'll have the review and edit any of the existing details related to the deliverable you're copying. From the next screen, you can fill in any details you'd like to add. Then click Save once you're done!

The resulting deliverable copies across all deliverable details and uses any information you updated in the process, but removes any artwork, documents, files or approvals associated with the original deliverables, leaving a blank canvas for uploading your artwork.
