Using the Different Views in the Projects List
The Projects menu contains a full list of projects where you've been listed as a team member. If you're an admin with specific permissions, then by default, you'll see all projects in admation, even if you're not part of the team.
Whilst the Recent Projects list records the last dozen or so projects that you've accessed, you can access your full list of jobs by clicking Projects.
From the right-hand side of the Projects list, there are 4 controls that will allow you to change the view of the Projects list.
Each view has filters, displays and sorting options that you can use to locate your projects in those crucial moments. This guide walks you through the base functionality of each view.
Using the List View
The List View is the default view for previewing your projects in admation. It summarises all main details about a project including:
- Job ID
- Agency Job #
- Advertiser
- Status of deliverables and documents sent for approval
- Job phase
- Job owners
- Key dates
- Task assignees
- WIP notes
Hover over the folder icon to reveal the project's structure, including sub-projects and deliverables. The blue number indicates the total count of deliverables and sub-projects within that folder. Alternatively, click on any row to access a detailed view of the entire project.
Using the List Details View
The List Details view offers an alternative way to preview your projects in Admation, providing a comprehensive summary of all key information about each project. This view delivers a convenient and detailed overview. side-panel.
From the side panel, you can see, at a glance:
- Project name
- Project ID and Agency Job Number
- Your organisation (or client if you are an agency)
- Phase
- Key Dates
- Task assignees
- Recent Activity
- Approval summary
- WIP Notes
You can click on any project in the list to activate the side panel.
Click on an i icon in the project list, or on the pop-out to access your full project.
Using the Date View
The Date View in Admation allows you to preview your projects by sorting them according to key dates. In this view, the project's start and end dates are displayed as solid coloured lines, while projects that are Live or In-Market are represented by striped lines for the relevant dates.
If you click the Plus Icon , admation shows your custom key dates, the Supply Deadline and live dates.
From this view, you can click the PDF button to export a printable document showing these dates.
Click the project name on the left hand side column to access a full project.
Using the Assignee View
The Assignee View is available to Resource Managers only, and shows all projects and a summary of their related tasks. In this view, you can click on in any project with tasks to show a summary of the tasks that need to be completed.
Alternatively, you can click anywhere else on the page to access the full project.
Using the Columns View
The Columns View shows all projects by their supply date. In this view, each project is categorised by week, with a colour-coded status bar showing the approval status of various deliverables in that project. In this way, users have a great overview of projects with deadlines approaching.
