Requesting Changes on Submission Briefs

Requesting Changes on Submission Briefs

Admation 3.96 introduced the ability to request changes on a submission brief! Where a submission brief isn't up to standard, brief recipients have the option to Request Changes on that brief. The original briefer can then Create a New Revision of that brief, rectifying what needs to be updated without needing to start again from scratch! Here's a quick run down on how it works.

Workflow for the User that Fills out the Brief

Follow the steps to fill out a brief. If you have the submission brief type enabled, you'll have the option to send off that brief to a group of people.

If that brief is up to scratch, your colleague will create that project, and you'll next receive an email notification letting you know that you've been added to a project. On the contrary, if your brief is not up to scratch, you'll receive another email to let you know. Click View Message.

Click Create New Revision to make the requested changes on the brief.

Make your changes and click Submit Brief. On the following page, you'll be able to re-enter a message to Send alongside your brief revision.

You may need to repeat the above steps until the brief is up to standard. You will receive an email once the project is created. Note that you can continue to create revisions of the brief once the project is created, if needed.

Workflow for the User that Receives a Brief

You'll receive an email notification when you have a new submission brief to review. When you View Message in your admation in-system inbox, you'll have the option to:

  • Download the brief
  • Preview the brief in the system
  • Create the project
  • Request Changes

Use the Preview or Download options to review the brief. If the brief is up to standard, you can follow these steps to create the project.

Alternatively, if the brief needs another revision before you would be happy to create that project, you can click Request Changes. You'll have space to write a message, explaining what you'd like the briefer to update. Then click Send.

You'll receive another email notification once a revision of the brief has come through. If you are using message threads to group your messages, your submission brief comms will also be grouped accordingly.

Repeat the above process as needed until you are happy to create the project.

Admation will keep track of the different versions of the brief created as part of the project documents.
