What's New?

• We have introduced the concept of Teams. A team, in the application, is a group of people associated together who can either accept jobs or approvals.
• Campaign Templates have been enhanced by adding new functionalities for checklists and approval workflows for jobs inside the campaign template.

Updates

• Approval Designer has been tidied up to give a cleaner interface allowing you to easily configure your Approver and Level combinations.
• A new view called the 'My Approvals' view has been created, that will easily let you view your own approval requests.
• We have added a 'My Team Approvals' view to allow team members to assign and be assigned Approval Requests.
• Approval Groups and Roles have been removed and replaced with the new Teams construct. Teams now replaces Approval Roles on the Approval Log record. 
• With the introduction of the Teams concept, we now allow job owners to add a team as an approver in an approval workflow. 
• We improved the Asset Approval screen by adding an Approval Side Panel and updating the UI to make it easier for approvers to get information out of the approval request or approval process. 
• We have updated the Approval Side Panel UI to incorporate Teams. 
• The following approval views are removed in the application:
  • Pending Approvals
  • Asset Approvals
  • Assets Pending My Approval

Campaigns

• We have hidden all sub-campaign pages and menus.
• We have improved the experience of users when applying campaign templates inside a campaign by adding a loading notification.

Jobs

• We have added a job checklist tab to the side panel of a job in the campaign giving you a convenient way of adding job checklists without going inside the job itself.

Resource Management

• We have created an easy and straightforward process for admin users to create a team inside the application. 
• A new view called the Teams list view allows you to easily view and manage all teams.
• We have given you multiple methods of adding and removing team members. 
• We now have the capability of using any of the follow identity providers to authenticate with Simple:
  • Google
  • AAD
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • LinkedIn
• We have added Teams to the resource page so that you can view the teams for which a resource is a member, and to allow admin users to easily add a team to the resource.

Templates

• You now have the ability to add Job Checklists for jobs inside the template and create approval workflows for each job inside the campaign template. 
• The Campaign Templates page has been simplified by hiding the Related tab.
• The Approval Template page has been updated to be similar to the Approval Designer tab. 
• We have created a view called the Approval Templates list view which allows you to easily view and manage all approval templates in the application.
