New in Release 1.2

28 August 2020

What's New?

We have polished up our user interface by creating a consistent look and feel across Campaigns and Jobs.

Added a new functionality to Campaign that contains custom fields.

Updates

Jobs

  • We improved the date calculations that impact Start Date, Due Date, and Duration for Jobs. Now updates to either of these fields will result in a re-calculation of either of the other two (Date or Duration fields).
  • We made the following changes to the Kanban view:
    • Removed the ‘trash’ icon from job cards
    • Reduced large headers and borders
    • Made Job Status colours clearer
  • You now only have 4 Jobs status options. We reduced the number of options from 7 to 4.
  • The rules for changing Job Status values have been implemented uniformly across all mechanisms of changing Job Status.
  • To improve your workflow management, a Kanban has been created for the “My Jobs” view.

Campaigns

  • We have refresh the UI to streamline the process of creating campaigns. The My Campaigns View has been set as default and allows you to see all campaigns that you own.
  • Now, when an existing Campaign is opened, you will be taken to the Jobs Tab by default, reducing the number of clicks needed to access your Jobs.
  • We have added a new Attributes section to Campaigns that gives you the functionality to allow the Campaign to contain Custom Fields.
  • We have upgraded the Approval panel to a side-panel that is displayed on the right of the form.
  • We have removed the following tabs from the Campaign form:
    • Summary Tab
    • Sub-Campaign Tab
    • Job Workflows Tab
    • Briefs Tab

Resource Management

  • You can now complete Jobs that you own, Jobs included in any Campaigns that you own, and you can now complete Jobs that you own, even if there are multiple assignees on the Job.

Templates

  • We have removed the Template field, from Initiative, Asset, and Brief entities, to reduce redundant fields on the screen.

Approvals

  • We have introduced a new side panel, to improve the process of submission and re-submission of assets.
  • A drop-down menu has been added to the top right of the new Approval Panel.
  • Approval decisions now include Approve, Approve with changes, and Reject.
  • The Approvers section will now contain a Feedback area, allowing all stakeholders to see all feedback comments.
